| Blackwell Forest Preserve has 7 plus miles of trails. Some trails are limestone screening and some are grass. The trails connect with the Illinois Prairie path at the intersection of Butterfield Road (Route 56) and Winfield Road. In addition, if you take the Illinois Prairie path a couple of hundred feet east of this intersection you will find a connecting trail that takes you to the trails in the Herrick Lake Forest Preserve. |
