The Great Western Trail is a 17 mile, crushed limestone trail between St Charles and Sycamore.
Note that this trail is not connected to the DuPage County trail with the same name.
The west end of the Great Western Trail connects with the Dekalb-Sycamore Trail. You can get from the east trailhead at Leroy Oaks Forest Preserve to the Fox River Trail using a 7 mile connection which is described in the Fox River Trail information. |
