The Hebron Trail is a 4-plus mile unpaved trail which goes from a remote area west of Richmond to Hebron.
The eastern trail head is located on Burgett Road less than half a half mile west of Keystone Road.
The western trail head is located at Church Street on the eastern edge of Hebron. If you follow the orange arrows on Church
Street and Mead Avenue you end up on Main Street (Route 47) where you can make a left to get the downtown area.
The McHenry County Conservation District has built a 2 mile trail which connects the
Hebron Trail to the Prairie Trail. The new trail is currently rideable despite the fact that
it is not officially open. The connection to the Prairie Trail is one third of a mile south
of the end of the Prairie Trail at Genoa City.
There is a small parking lot (no facilities) towards the west end of the new connecting trail on Keystone Road just north of Burgett Road.
