| The North Branch Trail is a 20 mile paved trail from Caldwell Woods in Chicago to the southern edge of the Chicago Botanic Garden in Lake County. This is a wonderful trail although it is best to avoid weekends when it can be rather crowded. Be sure to bring a lock and bike into the Chicago Botanic Garden where you can have lunch and check out the gardens. |
