Robert McClory Bike Path
The Robert McClory Bike Path runs for over 20 miles from the Cook County Border north to the Wisconsin state line. The northern portion of the trail was formerly called the North Short Path while the southern portion was the Lake county segment of the Green Bay Trail. For the most part the trail is paved, but the northern portion is crushed stone.

The Robert McClory Bike Path connects with the Green Bay Trail at the Cook County Border. At the Wisconsin state line it connects with trails that continue north to Kenosha and Racine.

In Lake Bluff the trail connects with the North Short Bike Path which in turn connects with the Des Plaines River Trail as it heads west toward Mundelein.
